About Jonathan Rivera

A dedicated legal advocate committed to protecting families and individuals through compassionate, strategic representation.

I became a lawyer because I believe everyone deserves access to excellent legal representation. Growing up in Brooklyn, I witnessed too many families struggle with legal issues they didn't understand, facing decisions that would change their lives forever.

Today, with over 15 years of practice, I've helped over 1,000 clients navigate family crises, immigration challenges, and estate planning. Each case reminds me why I do this work: to provide clarity when things feel overwhelming.

Personal Interests

When I'm not in the office, I'm an avid reader—especially history, biography, and legal thrillers. I believe understanding human stories makes me a better lawyer.

I'm passionate about hiking and exploring New York's outdoors. There's nothing like a weekend hike in the Catskills to clear the mind and gain perspective on life's challenges.

I'm married to Sarah, a high school history teacher, and together we're raising two amazing kids in Park Slope. Family is everything to me, which is why I fight so hard for my clients' families.
